What is Based Hanabi?

“Based Hanabi” is a Base community “Build-and-Give-athon” connecting Based builders and creators building for their respective communities with supportive capital. The event will run from 7/20-7/26 as part of Edcon Hackathon.

“Hanabi” meaning “fireworks” in Japanese are a symbol of summer in Japan, bringing communities together in the celebration of beauty. As a continuation of “Onchain Summer” and in the spirit of this symbol, Based Hanabi will celebrate projects that drive positive impact in your community.

By greater connectivity between disparate, local onchain initiatives can spark drive global-scale network effects, we will spark new “fireworks” in the Base and Superchain ecosystem.

Anyone can participate regardless of location, race, or age.
